Certificate in Information Security and Assurance

The graduate certificate in Information Security and Assurance teaches you how to secure and manage IT resources, and how to plan, provide and manage system security incidents and disasters. You will also learn to interpret and promote IT ethics and legalities (including corporate and regulatory compliance in terms of methods, approaches, and governance).

This KSU certificate is designed for both working professionals and graduate students. You will get to learn IT security technology through a hands-on virtual lab. The Coles College of Business has the only graduate certificate in Information Security and Assurance available from business schools in Georgia. This certificate emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to protect and inspect systems, and to detect and react to threats to the security of information in those systems. This certificate can be completed along with the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) with no additional course or can be completed as a certificate.
