Accessibility Compliance for Online Programs

KSU Online is committed to ensuring that official Web content and other electronic information associated with University administration, services, courses, or instruction programs and activities conform to widely accepted Web accessibility standards. KSU Online's goal is to provide effortless access for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to web-based content by maintaining as a minimum standard the guidelines set forth in the University System of Georgia’s Web Accessibility Guidelines.

To achieve this, KSU Online uses a wide array of accessibility tools and quality control measures when developing online courses. Every online course that is offered goes through several levels of quality review from both faculty and professional Instructional Designers before ever being presented to students.  Along with the expertise of KSU Online faculty, these measures ensure that our courses are of the highest quality, provide sustained interaction, and meet federal standards regarding accessibility. Refer to KSU's Institutional Policies for more information regarding compliance to ADA regulations.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: California is NOT an NC-SARA member; however, public institutions do not need to seek approval to operate in California. Therefore, Kennesaw State University does accept admission applications from online learners for distance programs from California residents. We look forward to speaking with you about our online programs and educational opportunities.

California has recently established a new process to manage complaints for out-of-state institutions serving online students in the state. The student complaint process is published by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
