  • GEORGIA MATCH is a simple way for you to know where you are eligible to be admitted to college based on your high school-calculated HOPE grade point average (GPA) through 11th grade. This makes it easier for you to see where you could attend college in Georgia and apply to institutions you are most interested in attending! You will still need to submit an application, but that will be easy — keep reading to learn how! Your GEORGIA MATCH colleges can also be found on your GAfutures Student Dashboard.

  • Kennesaw State offers over 190 degree programs in a variety of disciplines. Learn more about our degree programs.
    • First-year students applying to Kennesaw State University must have a recalculated high school GPA of 2.5. The high school GPA is recalculated based on the 17 units of the Required High School Curriculum.
      •  First-year students applying to Kennesaw State University through Summer 2026 may be admitted without an ACT or SAT score if they have a high school recalculated GPA of 3.2. Students with a recalculated high school GPA of less than 3.2 should submit official ACT or SAT scores and their high school transcript to be considered for admission. All students must be on track to complete the Required High School Curriculum to be admitted.

    • 490 Minimum Math Score

    *Computer Science courses with an emphasis in programming or coding can be used to fulfill the foreign language requirement.

  • First-year applicants must submit the following:

    • Official high school transcripts
    • All college transcripts
      • If you have earned any college credit (including dual enrollment credit) while in high school, it is your responsibility to request the college or university send official transcripts to KSU.
    • Standardized test scores
      • Kennesaw State accepts either the SAT or the ACT for freshmen and transfer freshmen applicants. Applicants must meet the minimum English/Critical Reading and Math section requirements. Official scores must be submitted electronically by the respective testing agency. Use the following school codes to submit your official test scores:
         
        SAT school code: 5359 
        ACT school code: 0833

    Official transcript(s) from high schools or colleges must be sent directly from the institution. If sent electronically, they must be sent through: Clearinghouse, Common App, GA Futures, Parchment, SCOIR, or Scribbles.
