Sunday, 4:30 p.m. KSU remains open this afternoon and tonight (Sunday), but will delay opening on Monday until 10:00 a.m.. Please allow a little extra time if you're coming to campus tomorrow.

Saturday, 6:25 p.m. Kennesaw State University remains CLOSED today, Saturday, December 9, 2017. This closure applies to all campuses. The delayed opening tomorrow, Sunday December 10, 2017 has been extended until 12:30 p.m. Please be cautious in the morning due to expected low temperatures and icy roads. Stay safe.

Saturday, 8:00 a.m. Kennesaw State University will be CLOSED today, Saturday, December 9, 2017. This closure applies to all campuses. Campuses will also delay opening tomorrow, Sunday December 10, 2017 until 10:00 am. It his highly advisable to stay off the roads.
Friday, 7:50 p.m. KSU Remains Closed today (Friday). We have now extended the delay on Saturday until 12pm (Noon); no Saturday morning final exams.
Friday, 11:51 a.m. Few students have called about final exams after the closing time. All final exams after 12:30pm (1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm, Friday, December 8) are rescheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2017, for the same exam time. Extra study time!

Friday, 6:00 a.m. We will open for normal operations this morning. The weather forecast continues to evolve. The latest forecast suggests that conditions may deteriorate as the day goes on. We will decide on the afternoon schedule by 10:30 a.m. Thank you.
Friday. 5:00 a.m. We are still scheduled to be open for normal operations today. We are trying very hard to get through final exams, but at the same time, making safety a priority. The weather forecast continues to evolve. The latest suggests that conditions may deteriorate as the day goes on. Although temperatures are forecast to remain above freezing today, we could see a couple of periods of heavy snow that could temporarily cover some of the surfaces. Please check with your supervisor if you have travel concerns. It is very important that faculty have the necessary support to conduct final exams, and as always, regardless of the situation, essential personnel (landscaping, housing, dining services, public safety, plant operations) remain on campus. Thanks for your help!
Friday, 3:00 a.m. NWS issued a Winter Weather Warning that includes KSU campuses. Although we do expect snow, we plan on being open for normal operations on Friday. We will monitor the situation throughout the day.
Thursday, 8:00 p.m. National Weather Service has more confidence that we will see snow tomorrow (Friday), but the temperatures should remain above freezing. We will have snow removal teams on campus by 5am. As always, use caution when traveling and allow extra time. Students -- good luck on your final exams!
