Do I need a computing background for this program?
Students should have a foundational knowledge of computing to do well in the program. Those who have not taken the following subjects as part of another degree program must complete these three foundational courses: Programming Principles, Computing Infrastructure, and Data Communications & Networking. You may be conditionally admitted to the MS Cyber program, requiring successful completion of the foundational courses.

What financial aid is available for graduate students?
The College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) is pleased to offer financial assistance to our graduate students which includes Out of State Tuition Waivers and Graduate Assistantships: Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA). Complete the RFI form to receive additional information.

Can KSU undergraduates take MS Cybersecurity courses?
Double Owl Pathways offer undergraduate students the opportunity to obtain their undergraduate and graduate degrees faster and at a significantly lower cost than if they pursued each degree independently.
Current KSU undergraduate students interested in the MS in Cybersecurity degree may have an option for a Double Owl Pathway. Complete the RFI form to receive the list of available pathways.
