We are so excited that you’re joining Owl Nation! Whether you’re new to college or coming from another institution, our team is here for you as you transition to campus.
Orientation requirements and offerings are determined by student type. Use the sections below to learn more!
New Student Orientation is required for all new freshman undergraduate students (under 30 credit hours). New freshman students will register for their first semester classes during their orientation session.

Orientation is not required for new transfer students. Transfer students should complete the KSU Orientation Modules prior to course registration. Optional special events and accepted student events are available for new transfer students.

International Student Orientation is required for all new international students (undergraduate and graduate). International students should register for classes before attending orientation.

Students participating in KSU’s Dual Enrollment Program are required to attend a Dual Enrollment Orientation session, hosted by KSU Admissions.
Dual Enrollment Students
Orientation is not required for readmit, transient, continuing, and auditing students. Graduate students will receive information about program orientations from the Graduate College.
