Technology is ubiquitous in our daily lives, shaping how we drive, check the weather, shop for groceries, plan dinner, read the news, manage our health, and unwind with a show. With AI embedded in so many of these moments, understanding it at the intersections of disciplines and sectors is the only way forward. In this talk, Kathy Pham draws on her 20-year career spanning technology development, writing and influencing federal public policy, teaching in academia, and venture funding to explore the creation and application of artificial intelligence, the players shaping AI, and the urgent need to strengthen the connections between technology, policy, education, and innovation.
