For over 25 years, the Master of Science in Conflict Management program has been preparing students to identify and pursue career opportunities in this innovative and exciting field.
During the MSCM program, students may choose to pursue a specialization in one of two tracks. These are optional specializations that students may complete as part of their study. In order to complete a specialization, students must choose the particular courses related to the specialization during their course registration each semester.
A hallmark of the M.S. in Conflict Management program is the field study that students
perform in their final semester of the program. This experience affords students the
opportunity to apply their skills and their knowledge to a specific chosen conflict
or peace environment. The field study prepares them to face the complex challenges
of our world. Students choose an area of the field to either (a) research, (b) intern,
or (c) develop and deliver a curriculum or training.
