Creating an Accessible Digital Experience

KSU is strengthening digital accessibility to ensure our websites, documents and media work for everyone. Use the resources below to request help, complete training, and take the steps to make your content accessible. These guidelines apply to content published across KSU's digital platforms, including kennesaw.edu and campus.kennesaw.edu.

Updates to ADA Regulations

Recent updates to federal ADA regulations require public universities to ensure digital content meets current digital accessibility standards by April 24, 2026. Digital accessibility includes websites, applications, social media, video, course materials, documents, and more.

Kennesaw State has established an Institutional Framework for Digital Accessibility that outlines the university’s commitment to ensuring digital content meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA, in accordance with federal requirements under the ADA and Sections 504 and 508.
