The Bachelor of Science with a major in Cybersecurity (BS-CYBR) helps you become a technologically capable, business-aware cybersecurity professional who is capable of applying technical skills and the knowledge of security management to protect computerized information systems from a wide variety of threats. You will gain the skills needed to effectively manage the risks associated with modern information technology usage.

As an affordable and high-demand post-secondary degree, you will learn to address the workplace and cybersecurity needs in the state of Georgia and around the world.

The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity program leverages current faculty capabilities in KSU’s existing Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Security and Assurance (BBA-ISA), the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Compared to the current BBA-ISA degree's more managerial-focused curriculum, the B.S. in Cybersecurity will deliver a more technically-focused, security-related degree designed to specifically address the fast-growing cybersecurity sector.

The interdisciplinary nature of the B.S. in Cybersecurity program allows you to develop advanced technological skills, an understanding of the business, managerial and administrative elements of cybersecurity and an awareness of cybercrime issues affecting today's markets.

The Bachelor program, certificate and minor are offered entirely online, allowing students the convenience and flexibility to take courses where and when they want.
