Minor in Data Science and Analytics

Kennesaw State University (KSU) offers a Minor in Data Science and Analytics. This Minor has been developed to assist KSU students in two ways:

  • To help KSU students differentiate themselves in a competitive job market after graduation. In addition to the broad and deep skills that students will develop through the completion of the Minor, most students will also qualify for one of our software certificates.
  • To help students prepare for an advanced degree - such as an MBA, Medical School, Law School, or other graduate programs.

The Data Science and Analytics minor will instruct students in the translation of data into information to ultimately support and improve decision-making in any discipline. As a result, our emphasis in all of our courses is on APPLICATION - not on Theory. Although Math majors are certainly welcome to pursue the Minor, the Minor courses were developed with the non-Math major in mind.
