Career and Academic Opportunities

The program will allow the continuation of MSCyber degree program while being an undergraduate and will open up the opportunity for entry and advanced level career in cybersecurity area. Admission Requirements

Double Owl Admission Requirements 

  • GPA: 3.25 or above in KSU undergraduate coursework
  • Minimum 60 hours completed toward Bachelor's degree
  • 30 hours completed in residence at KSU
Double Counted Courses Include
  • CYBR 7100 to count for CS 4612
  • CYBR 7200 to count for CS 4626
  • CYBR 7400 to count for CS 3626

NOTE: CYBR 7200 is a prerequisite for CYBR 7400.

Suggested Timeline

Once students meet, or are close to meeting, the credit hour requirements listed below, they should speak with a College of Computing and Software Engineering Academic Advisor about applying to the Double Owl Pathway.

Junior Year (students have completed at least 60 credit hours): Apply to the Double Owl pathway.

Senior Year (students have completed at least 90 credit hours): Apply to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Program (see below)
