BFA Art (Art History) students pursuing a Double Owl with the Master of Art in Art & Design, Museum Studies concentration, will be well prepared to enter careers in Art Museum and related industries through a streamlined BFA/MA.

Admission Requirements


Double Owl Admission Requirements 
  • Completion of 60 hours towards the BFA in Art (Art History concentration)
  • GPA of 3.00
  • Writing sample (i.e. Art History term paper)
Double Counted Courses Include
  • ART 6010 to count for Upper Division Art Studio Elective

Choose two of the following:

  • MUSE 6115 to count for Upper Division Art History requirements
  • MUSE 6120 to count for Upper Division Art History requirements
  • MUSE 6125 to count for Upper Division Art History requirements

Suggested Timeline 

Apply to Double Owl early in Junior year. Apply to Graduate Program in Senior Year by posted graduate program deadline.
