Career and Academic Opportunities

The Master of Science in Intelligent Robotic Systems is a multi-disciplinary degree that prepares students to work in automation, advanced manufacturing, and robotics. The degree is a natural follower of the Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics. The program in Intelligent Robotic Systems teaches students advanced topics such as control of autonomous robotic arms, simulation, the Robot Operating System (ROS), machine learning, and computer vision. Graduates can find jobs in robotics, nanotechnology, automation, or biomedical systems. The accelerated pathway will give students a unique preparation for advanced positions, such as control system engineer, design engineer, or instrumentation engineer.
