Career and Academic Opportunities

Public health students complete courses specific to health promotion, disease prevention, and addressing health disparities through evidence-based programs and policies. The PH/HMI Double Owl pathway builds on this foundation by equipping students with advanced skills in managing healthcare systems, utilizing health informatics to improve patient and population outcomes, and leading organizational change.

This pathway enhances students’ ability to analyze and interpret health data, optimize healthcare delivery, and implement innovative solutions to complex health challenges. Graduates are well-prepared for leadership roles in healthcare administration, health informatics, health policy development, and management positions within hospitals, government agencies, and non-profit organizations, thereby significantly broadening their career prospects and impact in the field of public health
