    Kennesaw State University will host its annual Constitution Week, Sept. 16-25. The week will consist of voter registration and education, census information, a field trip to the state capitol for students and a play highlighting the accomplishments of the 45 presidents of the United States through history.  –  September 10, 2019

  • Serving Country and Community

    Johana Figueroa Morales felt honored to be named to Kennesaw State University’s first cohort of Coca-Cola Scholars, but shortly afterward she put the scholarship and her coursework on hold. Figueroa Morales had a good reason for taking the spring 2019 semester off from KSU – she was on a deployment to Afghanistan and Kuwait as a combat medic with the Georgia Army National Guard. The 20-year-old sophomore recently returned home from the six-month assignment and has resumed her college classes this semester.  –  September 09, 2019

  • Kennesaw State named among America's Best Colleges for Student Voting

    Kennesaw State University has once again been recognized by Washington Monthly as one of America’s best colleges for student voting. Universities that demonstrated a high level of commitment in encouraging students to vote were selected for Washington Monthly’s annual honor roll list. Kennesaw State earned a perfect score and was one of only three Georgia institutions to make the top 80 list for 2019. This is KSU’s third consecutive year being named.  –  September 04, 2019

    Kendall Chamberlain was disappointed when an illness kept her from joining her President’s Emerging Global Scholars (PEGS) classmates on a trip to Costa Rica earlier this year. Fortunately, she earned the opportunity for a different once-in-a-lifetime trip, through the prestigious Fulbright Summer Institute program.  –  September 04, 2019

  • Kennesaw State Recognizes Birla Carbon Scholars

    Kennesaw State University junior Destiny Paige’s research into a new bioactive glass for use in tissue repair and drug delivery won the Top Poster Award at the Birla Carbon Symposium, at which the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) officially recognized the 11 new Birla Carbon Scholars.  –  September 03, 2019

  • Kennesaw State hosting Campus Safety Days

    Kennesaw State University will host its annual Campus Safety Days on September 5 on the Marietta Campus and September 19 on the Kennesaw Campus, highlighted by free flu shots for students, demonstrations of firefighting and rescue techniques by local firefighters, and a visit with police dogs from KSU Police and Cobb County Sheriff K9 units.  –  August 29, 2019
