  • Doctoral Distinction

    Kennesaw State University student Bob Vanderheyden recently became the first Ph.D. candidate in analytics and data science to receive a Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF), given for research designed to advance the scientific basis of science and innovation policy.  –  August 06, 2019

    Jie Hao and Bogdan Gadidov may not consider themselves pioneers, but in the world of data science these doctoral students are. The pair are among the first data scientists to earn the highest academic degree in the field – a Ph.D. in Analytics and Data Science from Kennesaw State – at the University’s July 25 Commencement ceremony.  –  August 05, 2019

  • Digitizing the Past

    Dignitaries from the Tuscan town of Montepulciano, Italy, hosted a reception to commemorate the hard work of Kennesaw State University Education Abroad students who digitized more than 2,000 handwritten documents in the town’s archives. Many of these records, some of which date from the mid-14th century, are connected to the town’s business and the construction of San Biagio, a classic-styled Renaissance church.  –  August 02, 2019
