Associate Professor Jim Davis shares his nerdy side

Jim Davis, associate professor of theatre and performance studies and first-year seminar instructor, is a big fan of professional wrestling, comic books and the nerd culture. Davis tells his students it’s OK to be a nerd, and he encourages them to find their passion in life and follow it.

Davis, who began his career as an actor in Atlanta at the Center for Puppetry Arts, says many KSU theater students and alumni can be found working in metro playhouses. In the interview with University College’s Brandon Apter, Davis shares how he incorporates his varied interests into his teaching and research.
