Advanced Additive Manufacturing, Research Support, and Industry Collaboration

The SPCEET 3D Center supports faculty researchers, student researchers, and industry partners through advanced 3D printing, 3D scanning, prototyping, reverse engineering, and engineering consultation services. Located on Kennesaw State University's Marietta Campus, the 3D Center provides access to specialized equipment and expertise to support research initiatives, sponsored projects, and advanced manufacturing applications.

Whether you're developing a prototype, conducting research, evaluating manufacturing processes, or exploring additive manufacturing technologies, our team can help identify the resources and services best suited to your project.

Research Support

The 3D Center provides support for faculty researchers, student researchers, and research teams requiring advanced additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, 3D scanning, and engineering consultation services.

Internal Kennesaw State University faculty, staff, and student researchers can submit requests through the SPCEET Engineering Lab Team portal.

After submitting a request, members of the SPCEET 3D Center team will review the project and work directly with you to identify appropriate support, equipment, materials, and next steps.

Industry Partners

The 3D Center works with industry partners seeking support with:

  • Prototype development
  • Product design evaluation
  • Reverse engineering
  • 3D scanning
  • Additive manufacturing applications
  • Engineering consultation services

Because industry projects often have unique technical requirements, we encourage organizations to contact us directly to discuss project goals and available resources.

For industry inquiries, please contact 3dcenter@kennesaw.edu.

Equipment & Materials

The SPCEET 3D Center and 3D Print Farm maintain a variety of additive manufacturing and digital fabrication resources. Depending on project requirements, equipment from either location may be used to complete a request.
