Student 3D Printing Services, Workshops, and Design Support

The SPCEET 3D Print Farm is the student-focused branch of the SPCEET 3D Print Farm & 3D Center system. Located on the Marietta Campus, the Print Farm supports coursework, competition teams, senior design projects, and hands-on learning opportunities through a variety of 3D printing resources and services.

Students have access to printing services, design support, workshops, and consultations that help bring ideas from concept to creation. Whether you're working on a class assignment, capstone project, research activity, or personal learning project, the Print Farm provides resources to support your success.

 

Print Services

The 3D Print Farm offers 3D printing services for SPCEET students and student project teams. Students can submit print requests for coursework, design projects, competition teams, and other approved academic activities.

Workshops & Consultations

The 3D Print Farm offers workshops, presentations, and consultations to help students and faculty learn more about 3D printing and computer-aided design (CAD). Whether you're new to additive manufacturing or need assistance with a specific project, our team is available to help.

Available services include:

  • CAD Design Assistance
    Get help designing a part for 3D printing or receive guidance with CAD software and design best practices.
  • 3D Printing Consultations
    Meet with our team to discuss printability, material selection, printer limitations, and project requirements.
  • CAD Workshops
    Faculty may request introductory CAD workshops for their classes. Training can be tailored to course needs and provided during scheduled class periods.
  • 3D Printing Presentations
    The Print Farm can provide classroom presentations covering additive manufacturing, available services, and the print request process.

Location:
Engineering Lab Building (Room G-130)
Marietta Campus

The 3D Print Farm is located on the first floor of the Engineering Lab Building in the alcove beneath the stairs near the east entrance. 

Hours of Operation:
The 3D Print Farm operates during the academic semester and is typically open Monday through Friday beginning the second week of classes. Hours may vary from semester to semester based on staffing availability. The facility is closed during university holidays and academic breaks.

Current operating hours are available by contacting the lab directly.

Walk-ins are welcome when staff are available. For project discussions or extended assistance, scheduling an appointment is recommended.
