2025-SAUPO-Japan, 05/16/25, Tokyo
The Symposium on ASIA-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO), organized by KSU’s Asian Studies Program since 2011, continues to be the largest Asia business conference in the U.S., with alternating conference locations in Atlanta and Asia. SAUPO was held in person on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the iconic Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome, located at 1 Chome-6-3 Higashishinbashi, Minato City, Tokyo, Japan 105-8333. Asia Pacific business leaders, investors, policy makers, diplomats, community leaders, scholars and students met in person at SAUPO 2025 in Tokyo Japan. The main purposes of SAUPO are information exchange, business network building, global visibility, and investment to/from Asia. The 2025-SAUPO-Japan, held at the Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome was a complete success! SAUPO participants loved this hotel, located conveniently next to the Shimbashi and Shiodome subway stations. 2025-SAUPO-Japan marks a milestone for the Asian Studies Program at Kennesaw State University as this is the first time we host a SAUPO conference in Japan. About 150 guests from across Japan, the USA and China attended the conference in person and over 80 audience members around the world logged into the Zoom. About 50 KSU Japan study abroad students attended SAUPO and several Asian Studies alumni working in Japan came as well. Both onsite and online audiences asked thought provoking questions. We are proud to host SAUPO in Tokyo, a city where ancient traditions and modern technologies co-exist in perfect harmony. We are very grateful for all the sponsors from the USA, Japan and China. Your support made this conference in Japan possible! Please enjoy 2025-SAUPO-Japan photos here:
