Undergraduate and graduate students are especially encouraged to attend, present their work, and connect with faculty, researchers, graduate programs, and peers from across the region.

About SESAPS

The Southeastern Section of the American Physical Society (SESAPS) was established in 1937 to advance and share physics knowledge across the southeastern United States. The section serves physicists in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The annual SESAPS meeting brings together faculty, researchers, postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, and educators for research presentations, physics education discussions, student engagement, and community-building across the discipline.
