What kind of job am I qualified for when I graduate?
The MSHMI program provides a solid foundation for you to serve in diverse roles such as a Health/Clinical Informatics Specialist, Health IT Consultant, Healthcare Project Management, Clinical Analyst, and as leaders and healthcare executives; Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), VP of Information Technology, and related job roles. -
What are the admission requirements for the MSHMI program?
To apply, submit your Graduate Application and provide all previous college transcripts, and an application letter. Recommendation letters are optional, and may be requested, if additional materials are required to make a decision on the application.

Are there any additional requirements for international students?
All international students are required to submit an evaluated transcript for any transcript coming from outside of the United States, and official TOEFL or IELTS scores sent directly to KSU's Office of Graduate Admissions. For more information, please visit the International Requirements outlined on their website. -
Are there any Graduate Research Assistantships available for MSHMI students?
Yes, there are a number of competitive Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) available. GRAs receive a partial tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Students work with faculty on a research project, and therefore are subject to faculty/project availability.
