About The Museum of History and Holocaust Education

One of the sections of the Save One Life museum exhibit

The Museum of History and Holocaust Education comprises one unit within the Kennesaw State University Department of Museums, Archives, and Rare Books (MARB).

Founded in 2003, the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University engages audiences with stories of World War II, the Holocaust, and the generational shifts that encompass those world events through exhibitions, programs, and educational resources.

Each year, we reach tens of thousands of K-12 students, teachers, university students, and community members through in-person field trips, workshops, and events, and tens of thousands more through our digital content and traveling exhibitions. By connecting past and present, we inspire critical thinking and empathy that empowers visitors to help build a more just and informed future.

Our Mission

In addition to serving KSU and department initiatives, the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University presents public events, exhibits, educational resources and training rooted in World War II and the Holocaust and the generational shifts that relate to those events.

The MHHE illuminates the role that individuals play in history and the effects of history on individuals.
