Kennesaw State University alumnus Marc Feuerbach ‘07, who is Cartersville City Schools Superintendent, will represent Georgia at the national level in February at the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) meeting in Nashville. Named 2026 Superintendent of the Year recently by the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) and Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA), Feuerbach is the state’s nominee for National Superintendent of the Year, an honor the AASA will announce Feb. 12.

Alumna carves unique path toward sports journalism career

Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Autumn Johnson has graduated from presenting in the classroom to being featured on televisions and screens across the country. She wears many hats in the sports journalism world, from serving as a WNBA analyst for ION Media Networks to sideline reporter for the Atlanta Dream.

Company delivers industry insights and robotics experience for KSU students

Mickey Dunn Stadium roars to life this spring

When Owls shortstop Shamaar McDuffie laces up his spikes for the Kennesaw State University baseball team this spring, he will be among the first players to set foot inside Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field. Named for alumnus Mickey Dunn ’18, who provided the lead gift in its development, the new facility sits on the site of the former Fred Stillwell Stadium and cuts an impressive figure with expanded seating capacity and improved amenities.

Esports team earns first place in two divisions at the Peach Belt Conference Championships

Kennesaw State University’s Esports team brought home Peach Belt Conference wins at the Florence Esports Festival in Florence, South Carolina, in November. The Peach Belt Conference hosted tournaments across Overwatch, Rocket League, and Marvel Rivals leagues over two days.
