Will Attorney General Jeff Sessions play a factor for Georgia's laws? Political science professor Kerwin Swint responds.

"He is going to be ... not extreme right, but he’s very conservative and I think most Georgia voters probably agree with his priorities," said Dr. Kerwin Swint, a political professor at Kennesaw State. 

Swint is keeping a close eye on how Sessions approaches Georgia's water wars, which the senator was involved with during his time in Congress.

"It’s going to be interesting to see what role he can play as attorney general with Georgia, Alabama and Florida, those lawsuits are heating back up," he said. "It may be that he can tilt the scales towards Alabama, but you know, from our standpoint, hopefully not."
