Academic advisors are a pivotal resource for new students navigating their academic journey. Find information for students interested in attending their orientation vitually or in-person, or how to contact your advisor and schedule an appointment. KSU emphasizes the importance of proactive engagement with academic advisors to ensure a smooth transition into university life and empower students to take charge of their academic experience at Kennesaw State University.

If today is your Orientation:

In-Person Orientation

You'll meet with your advising office and advisors for your initial course registration from 10:15am-11:15am (Gold Track) or 11:45am-12:45pm (Black Track).

Advisors from multiple colleges will then be available from 2pm-4pm to answer questions during your "Choose Your Own Adventure" period. Check your New Owl Guide for more details.

Virtual Orientation

You'll virtually meet with your advising office and advisors from 11:10am-11:55am.

Your advisors will be available virtually from 1pm-4pm to answer questions during your "Choose Your Own Adventure" period. Check your New Owl Guide for more details.

More information about connecting with your advising office will be provided at the end of scheduled programming.

Visit during Drop-In Hours

Drop-In Advising means you do not have to have a scheduled appointment to meet with an advisor. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
