Putting letters behind your name is very important in the accounting profession. Find a certification that best fits your career goals.
Get Certified – This website will give you information on all the certifications. The “gold standard” is Certified Public Accountant (CPA). There are over half a million licensed CPAs in the United States. The CPA credential is the most recognized and broad certification you can earn. CPA is only one of the many options. Becker CPA Prep - Kennesaw State School of Accountancy has partnered with Becker CPA prep to provide you with Becker's All Access package at a discounted rate of $2,350. This includes a complete four-part CPA review with an unlimited access period. Students can use Becker's self-study, live online classes, live in classroom classes, digital and print textbooks, digital flash cards and access to CPA exam success coaches.
Georgia Society of CPA’s Student Membership – A Georgia Society of CPA’s Student Membership is a great resume builder, a way to connect with the profession, and provides you great content for interviews to prove you know what is happening in the Georgia Accounting world. The one-time fee grants you access as a student member for one year after graduation. Join today!

Project Bench & Jobs
Project Bench & Jobs (PB&J) is an innovative program in the Coles College School of Accountancy. Junior, Senior, or MAcc students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the Atlanta accounting community.
Employers often have short-term (up to 16 weeks) project-based work requiring additional qualified help. Candidates from the “Bench” can go to work quickly, eliminating the employer’s need to complete a lengthy job posting/search. Employers are willing to work around your class schedule and the expected time commitment is up to 20 hours a week. If you are interested, apply in Handshake, today!

- The Educational Foundation of The Georgia Society of CPAs -
The Educational Foundation of The Georgia Society of CPAs, Inc. sponsors scholarship programs that provide financial support to accounting majors and those with a concentration in accounting. Students who meet the eligibility requirements listed below are encouraged to apply. All scholarships awarded are to be used for the following school year.
