    Kennesaw State University graduates earn higher salaries in their chosen career fields than those from the majority of Georgia’s colleges and universities, according to this year’s rankings by salary information company PayScale. Kennesaw State ranked fifth out of 41 public and private institutions in Georgia in PayScale’s 2017 College Salary Report.  –  September 15, 2017

  • South Cobb Rotary awards deserving KSU WellStar nursing student (Marietta Daily Journal)

  • Kennesaw State University sweeps Golden Key International Honour Society awards (Marietta Daily Journal)

    The Golden Key International Honour Society recognized the Kennesaw State University chapter with its three highest awards during the International Summit held in Las Vegas. Adrianna Parson, a graduate student, was honored as Student of the Year, and Michael Sanseviro, associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students, was awarded Advisor of the Year. For the second year in a row, the chapter was recognized as Key Chapter.  –  September 13, 2017

    WXIA-TV’s popular weather personality Chesley McNeil wakes up Atlanta with his forecasts, starting at 4:30 a.m., weekdays on “Wake Up with Chesley,” using a blend of humor and specific weather information to impart the important elements about what to expect during the day. In much the same way, beginning at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the part-time instructor of atmospheric sciences teaches Kennesaw State University students in his Science, Society and the Environment II course what they need to learn.  –  September 13, 2017

  • Kennesaw State grows sustainability efforts

    Kennesaw State University’s sustainability efforts are growing with the help of a grant from Keep America Beautiful. The Coca-Cola/Keep America Beautiful Public Space Recycling Infrastructure Grant provided 30 new recycling bins for the University’s Marietta Campus, expanding the overall recycling efforts to both campuses. The University purchased an additional 24 recycling bins along with the grant-funded bins to bring the Marietta Campus total to 54 bins.  –  September 08, 2017

    Kennesaw State University may want to send the National Science Foundation a nice Christmas card this year. The federal agency awarded research grants to Kennesaw State on four consecutive days last month, a first for the Cobb County institution. The grants totaled nearly $840,000.  –  September 08, 2017
