By adding fresh research, shared labs, and strong industry ties, CYPHR strengthens KSU’s role as Georgia’s home for practical tech breakthroughs.
Join us at the KSU Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 9-10, for live demos, keynote talks, faculty presentations, guided tours, and plenty of networking. Students, faculty, industry partners, and government leaders will swap ideas, scout projects, and help build the workforce Georgia needs next.

Buy TicketsFirst-Year Scholars: Student Applications Due! 11:59pm The First-Year Scholars Program pairs first-year students who are interested in research, with faculty, staff, or postdoctoral research mentors to engage in an academic year-long research project. This program is managed by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), who provides this highly competitive opportunity at the start of each fall semester.
2025-2026 Projects and Student Applications will be live on the website by Friday, August 22nd at 5:00pm. Student applications are due by Wednesday, September 10th at 11:59pm.
First-Year students who are interested in applying are encouraged to read through all program information thoroughly. We also highly recommend visiting the Accepted Students Page for a full break-down of the program requirements, to ensure your schedule allows for the time commitment required.

Come meet the faculty members behind KSU’s Health & Wellness Research Community and see how your work fits in! Light refreshments will be provided.

The MOVE Center at KSU is an Office of Research initiative that unites faculty from engineering, health sciences, computing, and allied fields to spark solutions that boost mobility, health, and quality of life for people everywhere. On Friday, September 19, join researchers, clinicians, students, and industry partners for a full day of idea-sharing and hands-on discovery.

All sessions are free and open to the public!
Day 1: Poster Presentations & Visual Displays
These in-person sessions are 45-minute sessions, which begin at the top of each hour (9:00am-9:45am, 10:00am-10:45am, etc.) Students are assigned numbered spots, where they set up their research presentation and are available to discuss and answer questions to attendees.

20 Thursday Fall Symposium of Student Scholars: In-Person Oral Presentations & Performances 9:00am at Joe Mack Wilson Student Center, Ballrooms The Symposium of Student Scholars is a multi-day event designed to showcase student research at Kennesaw State University. All sessions are free and open to the public!
Day 2: Oral Presentations & Performances
Each college is assigned a designated timeslot, and four (4) presentations are selected by administrators to best represent the scope of research happening within their specific college. These are 50-min sessions. Presenters are allotted 10-mins for their presentation and 2-mins for Q&A after.
