Student Success (S²) Center

The SPCEET Student Success Center at the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SPCEET) provides peer-based academic support for engineering majors in a variety of engineering and engineering technology courses. Tutoring is available Monday through Friday, both in-person and online.

Face-to-face tutoring is in room Q-206 of the Engineering Technology Center (Building Q) and online is via MS Teams. Instructions for having an online tutoring session are on the online tutoring page.

Tutoring for a given subject is available according to a weekly schedule, based on the tutors' availability. During those hours, students are welcome to receive tutoring from a peer who has already earned either an A or a B in the course. The schedule page provides the days and times when tutoring for each course is provided.

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Support

The Student Success Center is here to help you prepare for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam through a variety of resources and weekly review opportunities:

FE Group Review Sessions – Held every Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, these collaborative sessions are either facilitated by experienced tutors, graduate students, or professors. Each session focuses on a specific FE exam topic, providing guided problem-solving and concept review.

Study Resources and Formula Sheets – Access a wide range of FE exam study materials and formula sheets for different engineering subjects to strengthen your preparation.

Meet the Tutors

Eli Hampton (EE)

I am a graduate student and currently serving as the President for the INCOSE Chapter at Kennesaw State University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management.

Owen Foster (OF)

My name is Owen Foster and I am in my fourth year studying Mechanical Engineering here at KSU. I also play on and am treasurer of the KSU Ice Hockey Team.

William Ubah (CE)

I'm a highly inquisitive and motivated soon-to-be Civil Engineering graduate with specialized interest in Structural Analysis, Design of Concrete, Steel, and Wood Structures, Foundation Design, as well as Construction Management.

Isabel Castro

I’m a senior majoring in Industrial Engineering. I’m originally from Colombia, and in my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite food is sushi, and I love coffee. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and helping in any way I can!
