Step into The Third Place: Mystery Meetup, part of KSU’s Connect Collectives, where curiosity and connection come first. Inspired by the idea of a “third place” — a welcoming spot beyond home and class — this Collective offers a surprise theme or activity each week to spark conversation, reflection, and community. In each session, you’ll be paired with a “mystery friend” for a one-on-one conversation — no small talk required. Here, you’ll find space to drop the script, go deeper, and talk about the things that don’t always come up in everyday campus life. No pressure, no pretending — just real students, real conversations, and room to grow together. From creative prompts to thought-provoking discussions, you’ll never quite know what to expect and that’s the magic. The Mystery Meetup is designed to help you step outside your routine, engage with new perspectives, and discover fresh ways to connect with yourself and others.
