    Kennesaw State University’s Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA), a unit of the School of Art and Design, is proud to present “{UNDER}flow,” a new exhibition featuring the work of five internationally celebrated Afro-Caribbean artists. Curated by Cynthia Nourse Thompson, Associate Professor of Fine Art and Director of Curatorial Affairs at the ZMA, the free exhibition runs Aug. 29 to Dec. 9.

    Kennesaw State to host Broken Box Mime Theater in "A BKBX Frankenstein"

    Kennesaw State University’s Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) will host Broken Box Mime Theater in the Stillwell Theater for a limited engagement of “A BKBX Frankenstein” on Sept. 8-9 at 8 p.m., with a matinee at 3 p.m. on Sept. 9. Tickets are $12-$20 and are available online or by calling Patron Services at 470-578-6650.

    Lior Lazarof (Israel) and Nicola Wills (Belgium/Australia) were selected as the Eleo Pomare–Glen Conner Choreographic Residency recipients for summer 2023. Since arriving July 3, the two ambitious artists have been busy creating original works in collaboration with Dance students. The works will be performed August 25-26 in “Double Exposure,” opening the 2023-2024 season for DanceKSU.

    Kennesaw State University Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) will present “Rent” April 6-16 at the Stillwell Theater on the Kennesaw campus. The iconic rock musical—with music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson—offers an intimate encounter with a diverse group of young artists living in the lower east side of New York as they struggle to make ends meet during the siege of HIV Aids. Their relationships reinforce the power of a supportive community, and, most of all, the hope and joy that love offers amidst loss and despair.
