Summer Intensive students will be housed in the Village Suites which are conveniently located near the Bailey Center and Wilson Building. Participants will receive a more detailed schedule later in the spring from each College of the Arts Unit (Dance/Theatre/Music/Art).

  • It will be necessary to walk to your classes and meals each day. The walk takes only a few minutes. Please complete the health form thoroughly, paying special attention to any specific allergies or conditions that may apply to you. If there is a medical condition the Summer Intensive staff should know of, please tell us about this before the start of this week. • We expect our participants to always behave appropriately, with respect for other students and for the facilities of Kennesaw State University. Naturally, we do not allow harmful or unhealthy behavior (smoking, drinking) under any circumstances. We expect all students to participate in all camp activities and to follow the directions of camp staff and faculty.

We rarely encounter any discipline problems at our Summer Intensive. We believe our participants are among the best and brightest students in high schools. In those cases when a student commits gross misconduct or consistently demonstrates an inability to follow the rules, we usually send the individual home. This is rarely necessary, but not out of the question. We want you to have a wonderful experience at the KSU Summer Arts Intensive.
