Members of the KSU Women in Constriction (K.W.I.C.) student organization recently participated in the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta Construction Challenge. The main task of the challenge was to design and construct a piece of furniture utilizing unconventional materials with a unique design. These pieces will then be put into the Chairish the Future gala that includes a live and silent auction to raise much-needed funds for the Furniture Bank. The mission of the Furniture Bank is to create stability for families and individuals in need by distributing donated furniture to their houses into homes.
