Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a global provider of risk management solutions, today announced the appointment of Jeff Unterreiner as president, U.S. Connected Living. He is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and leading business and client development opportunities in the U.S.

Previously, Unterreiner served as senior vice president of Assurant’s Global Connected Living team. He focused on helping clients deliver a better customer experience, increase revenue and build loyalty through end-to-end product lifecycle management solutions, including support, protection and logistics offerings.

Unterreiner earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and professional sales from the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University.
