Michael J. Coles has made it a habit to not only defy the odds against him, but also to turn obstacles into opportunities, near-fatal tragedies into triumphs and poverty into philanthropic success.
The historic Brookhaven resident’s autobiography, co-authored by Catherine M. Lewis, Ph.D., is titled “Time to Get Tough: How Cookies, Coffee and a Crash Led to Success in Business and Life.” Published by the University of Georgia Press in Athens, it explores the life of the 74-year-old entrepreneur and is scheduled to be released Sept. 25.
