Deferring Admission With F-1 Student Visa
This information is for international students wishing to attend KSU on an F-1 student visa. If you are not planning to study on an F-1 student visa, please contact the KSU Admissions office directly for information about deferring your admission.
- Contact the Undergraduate Admissions office at firstname.lastname@example.org regarding updating your admission to the new semester. Include the following information:
- Your name
- KSU ID number
- The semester that you originally applied for
- The new semester that you wish to enter
- Notify the ISSS by submitting the "Defer I-20" e-form in iStart under the Admissions tab.
PLEASE NOTE: An admissions application fee and new application may apply. Your I-20 can only be deferred once your admission update has been processed. Financial statements must be dated within 6 months of the issuance of your I-20. If you are deferring to a later semester, you may have to submit updated financial statements.
