Our undergraduate students in Political Science and International Affairs regularly receive recognition for their academic excellence and involvement in prestigious internships, both within Georgia and across the country. Our School is proud to support academically focused student organizations and competition teams, including Mock Trial, Model United Nations, and Model NATO. The students find opportunities to conduct research with our world-class faculty.

  • The Master of Public Administration program is one of the largest graduate programs at Kennesaw State University, with alumni serving in government and public service agencies throughout Georgia and the nation. Our master’s degree in International Policy Management, an innovative and award-winning online program, prepares students for careers in international organizations, non-governmental organizations, multinational corporations, and government agencies. 

    Our Double Owl Pathways allow students to accelerate their progress toward a master's degree by taking graduate-level coursework during the final year of their undergraduate studies.  

    We pride ourselves on our strong connections with the local, national, and global communities. Through internships, study abroad programs, and collaborative research projects, our students have numerous opportunities to apply their learning in real-world contexts. We also host a variety of events to provide platforms for engagement on critical issues facing our world today.

Our Mission

The School is committed to excellence in teaching, learning, research, and service. We value and encourage engagement with the community at the local, national, and global levels. Our primary goal is to provide our students with the necessary academic and communication skills, knowledge base, and analytical abilities to understand political systems and critical issues, and to be involved citizens and high-performing professionals in their chosen careers. Through our various undergraduate and graduate programs and outreach activities, the faculty and students work together to engage in independent scholarship and professional development in areas such as domestic and international politics and policy, public administration, and conflict management.
