Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences Grant and Contract Development Project

Application Deadline: Feb. 20, 2026

The Grant and Contract Development Project funding will support activities for projects to collect pilot data, build out a research protocol/design, and/or engage in activities that can make a grant proposal more competitive. It is expected that this project will engage undergraduate or graduate students in the research project.

    • Submission of a grant or contract proposal to an outside entity is required. Must run through the university system (Cayuse) by December 31, 2026 (Later dates that fall within AY 2025 – 2026 may be considered at the discretion of the Radow College Associate Dean of Research).
    • Submission of a publication for peer review by May 1, 2026, is encouraged but not required.
    1. Two-page project narrative that identifies and discusses the proposed project, feasibility, activities, impact, and outcome(s). Detailed timeline with weekly activities for the funded period.
    2. Budget and budget justification for the following expenditures:
      • Faculty June Summer Pay (for FY2026 only): 10% of salary plus fringe (23.85%), exclusive of student budget. NOTE: Summer compensation counts toward the 33.33% maximum per faculty member
      • Student Pay: June 1-June 30, 2026 GRA /May 10 – June 20, 2026 URA support.
      • Current and pending funding.

Dissemination Acceleration Project Funding Opportunity

The Dissemination Acceleration Project funding will support current and ongoing work and activities that lead to the dissemination of research and creative activities. It is expected that this project will engage undergraduate or graduate students in the research project.

  • Journal articles, books, book chapters, performances, exhibits, small grant proposals, and other recognized scholarly products to be disseminated. Submission of the dissemination activity for review is required by September 1, 2026.
