We need your help to make the SECCDC a success!
Organizations interested in sponsoring this competition should contact Dr. Mike Whitman, Director of the SECCDC for further information. (cybersec@kennesaw.edu).
How can you sponsor? Several ways:
- Direct financial contribution: All donations to the SECCDC are tax deductible, and a receipt will be provided on request. Financial contributions can be made on our KSU Mall site.
- In-kind donations: Vendors wishing to supply hardware, software, or services should contact Dr. Mattord
at the email above. Please note, we only accept hardware, software, or services that
directly contribute to the conduct of the competition. We humbly request that if licensed
products are provided, that sufficient time is provided to install, test, and configure
the products to support the competition. All in-kind donations must be received by
January 31 for the competition cycle to be of any value to the competition.
Please note that in-kind donations can only be awarded Silver-level sponsorship. -Additional cash donations would be required to reach Gold or above levels.
- Volunteers: The competition coordinators are always looking for personnel to assist as team judges and red team pen testers. However, we do not typically count employee time as an in-kind donation for purposes of event sponsorship. We welcome those who donate their time or the time of their employees. However, except in very rare circumstances, we cannot provide the benefits and recognition to individuals or organizations who volunteer employee time, as we do for other donation categories.
For those providing direct or in-kind sponsorships, subject to the aforementioned restrictions, that meet the following thresholds, we provide the corresponding recognition and benefits.
