Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Animation

This Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program prepares students for various animation and animation-related careers or graduate school by providing a thorough grounding in fundamental principles and techniques. Through the 2D Animation and 3D Animation concentrations, this degree focuses on intensive work in digital animation supported by a program of general studies.

2D Animation:

The 2D Animation concentration prepares students for careers in animation by developing skills in storytelling, character design, storyboarding, compositing, and 2D character rigging. Through individual and team-based projects, students gain experience across the animation pipeline and graduate with a portfolio ready for the industry.

3D Animation:

The 3D Animation concentration provides hands-on training in the 3D production pipeline, including modeling, lighting, texturing, animation, rigging, and compositing. Students complete individual and team-based projects that strengthen their skills and help them build a career-focused portfolio.
