We invite you to our Well-being Walk and Talk 🚶🚶 events to support each other and stay active. Connect with your co-workers, enjoy an energizing walk, promote your wellbeing, meet your wellbeing champions, and learn about our wellness programs designed to support a healthier lifestyle.

Mindfulness: A Tool for Healthy Work!
Join us for an engaging Lunch and Learn.

Join us for a lunch and learn focusing on mindfulness, a powerful tool to promote wellbeing. Defined as a non-judgmental present moment awareness, mindfulness is an evidence-based strategy to relieve stress, promote health and wellbeing, and enhance work productivity. This session will be particularly focused on tools for practical mindfulness, or methods to weave mindful moments into everyday life.
Kristin A. Horan, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Science and a core faculty member in the Center for the Advancement of Military and Emergency Services Center at Kennesaw State University. She received her PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Her research focuses on interventions to improve employee safety, health, and well-being, particularly in high-risk occupational settings, such as emergency services agencies.
