The School of Government and International Affairs is proud to celebrate three of its outstanding alumni who have been named to Kennesaw State University’s 2025 40 Under 40 Owls, an honor recognizing graduates under the age of 40 who are making significant impacts in their professions and communities.
This year, nearly 47,000 KSU and SPSU alumni under 40 were eligible for the Class of 2025. Honorees were chosen through a highly competitive nomination process that evaluated candidates on professional excellence, community engagement, and continued dedication to KSU. Over 400 nominations were submitted during Fall 2024.
We are thrilled to recognize the following SGIA alumni:
Katie Sizemore earned her degree in International Affairs in 2011. She now serves as the Indo-Pacific Portfolio Manager in the International Affairs Division at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Lakeisha Sesay earned a Master of Public Administration in 2019 and currently works as a Strategy Consulting Executive in the Public Service Industry at Accenture.
Eric Johnson earned his degree in Political Science in 2015. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives for Representative Barry Loudermilk.
These honorees embody the spirit of leadership, service, and excellence that define
SGIA and KSU. We are proud to see their achievements recognized and look forward to
their continued success. For a full-list of honorees, please visit the 40 Owls under 40 website.
