The Technical Communication and Interactive Design Department (TCID) provides you with an opportunity to earn internship class credit in either degree - Interactive Design or Technical Communication.
An internship is a valuable form of “learning by doing.” Internships can help you in a number of important ways. Benefits:

How Do I Apply For Credit My Internship?
- Speak with advisor, Samuel Rathvon, to ensure that class credit can be used towards your degree.
- Speak with department chair, Dr. Laura Palmer, about the details of the internship. If she tentatively approves, then go to Handshake and fill out an experience form.
- After this form is submitted, it will go to Dr. Laura Palmer for official approval. Once approved, Career Services will reach out via email with a CRN.
- Once this is received, sign into Owl Express, and register for the course via the proved CRN.
