Associate Professor of English

M. Todd Harper, PhD, is an Associate Professor of English.  Dr. Harper began teaching at KSU in 1998 after completing his doctorate in English/Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Louisville.  Since his arrival he has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in writing, the teaching of writing, the history of rhetoric, and rhetorical theory in addition to directing over 25 study abroad programs in Greece and Italy.  In 2003, Dr. Harper taught at Ionian University on the island of Corfu, Greece, for a semester, and in 2005 he taught at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.  Dr. Harper's scholarship includes research in rhetoric and religion, rhetoric of health and medicine, and global education.
