Congratulations to INCM Alumnus, Dr. Pranaya Rana who received KSU’s 2024 Madhuri and Jagdish N. Sheth Distinguished Alumni Award for Exceptional Humanitarian and Service Achievement. During the COVID lock downs, Dr. Rana designed an Academic Empowerment Training program aimed at Grade 12 students in Kathmandu who didn’t have online learning capabilities. The program aimed to supply them with basic academic tools such as MS Office so that they wouldn’t fall behind their peers with access to hybrid learning models. Dr. Rana’s program has been utilized in various school systems throughout Nepal.
