Summer courses can help you catch up, get ahead, or stay on track with your degree. Taking a class or two over the summer can lighten your load for future semesters and keep you moving toward graduation. Plus, it's a great way to stay connected, focus on fewer courses at a time, and finish your degree on schedule. We're here to help you get One Step Closer with Summer @ KSU!

Schedule of Classes

Not all courses are offered in all session lengths, so make sure you look at the class schedule early while you’re planning. You will not be able to register for a session that has already passed the Drop/Add period.

SUMMER 2026 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

 

 

Summer @ KSU Registration

Registration for Summer 2026 will open in March 2026.

Students can find their registration time ticket on Owl Express by selecting the Registration tab, then selecting Prepare for Registration. We strongly encourage you to meet with your advisor before registering.

Summer Advising

 

    • Log in to Owl Express.
    • Select the "Registration" tab.
    • Select the "Register for Classes" link
    • Select "Summer Semester 2026" from the dropdown menu and continue.

    You can also visit the Office of the Registrar's website for a step-by-step guide.

  • To check for holds:

    • Log in to Owl Express.
    • Select the "Registration" tab.
    • Select the "Prepare for Registration" link.

    For information on how to resolve holds, review the list of common registration errors and solutions.

  • Waitlisting information, including how to get on the waitlist and how to check your position, is available on the Office of the Registrar's website.
    • Lecture: Meets in a classroom on scheduled days and times.
    • Hybrid: Combines in-person and online learning.
    • Fully Online
      • Synchronous: Live online sessions at specific times.
      • Asynchronous: Complete coursework at your own pace.

    To view your registered course modality, term, and instructor:

    • Log in to Owl Express.
    • Select the "Registration" tab.
    • Select the "View Registration Information" link.
    • Select "Summer Semester 2026"
    • Select the "Schedule Details" tab.
