Annual Owl Memorial Ceremony

The Office of the Dean of Students in partnership with the Student Government Association coordinates the university's annual memorial ceremony to honor the students, faculty, and staff who have passed away during the year. Everyone is welcome to attend this annual remembrance of the Owls who we lost.

The "Midnight Watch" bronze sculpture of a pensive owl keeping watch over the nest was commissioned by the Student Government Association and installed in Spring 2009 on the Kennesaw campus as a permanent memorial to all fallen Owls. SGA is currently working on the creation of a permanent memorial for the Marietta campus.
