Your Dean of Students is your advocate and resource to help maximize your success
at KSU and beyond. The formal roles of the Office of the Dean of Students include
oversight for all student conduct, problem resolution, behavioral and crisis response,
administrative emergency withdrawals, policy review and compliance, and student advocacy
and support.
Administrative Emergency Withdrawals
It is always KSU's goal that students guide their own educational process, and when
difficulties arise along the way we are here to help. When students experience medical
or psychological emergencies that impede their ability to successfully remain enrolled
at KSU, an administrative withdrawal can help students focus on healing without harming
their academic record.

Alcohol and Other Drug Information
At Kennesaw State University, we take the health and well-being of our entire community
very seriously. We understand that for some students, college is a time of increased
socialization and being faced with new and diverse choices. Through the collaborative
efforts of the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Education and Prevention Coalition, a
cross-functional team of faculty, staff, students, administrators, and community members
champion educational and policy initiatives in service to the university and surrounding
community.
